A goodbye

I had a little blue box, where my mother kept some of her memories when she was young. . It was cardboard lined with a kind of blue silk, with golden letters on top, made by her in school. It was about 75 years old, tattered and broken. I could't throw it simply away. I added some dried lavender, which she loved, and set fire on it. 

I miss her. May she rest in peace.

A new dawn...

The second part of 2025 was heavy ( Death of my mother) and 2026 started not so bad, but in February, my beloved Peugeot 508 RXH was reduced to scrapmetal, when a snowplow crashed into it. Luckily, nobody was hurt. Well, I have big hopes for this year, things can only get better (like the songs by D:Ream).

Another year has passed....

Haven't written for quite some time....

In the meantime, I worked a lot, since last october, my department did fusion with another, and now I am responsible for a team of 14 employees. A challenge that will occupy my attention also in 2023. 

I read a lot, was in London after 2 years and supported with money, clothes and batteries the brave people of the Ukraine. (the war sstill goes on....) 

The roof of my house was leaking, and it was expensive to get it fixed before the cold, wintery nights. Bad luck!

Good luck was also there: I got a raise, and got in contact with a guy who sold a science fiction collection. Many rare german pulps and paperbacks...very nice! 

Have a good start into the year of the rabbit (l know, a little bit late), and stay healthy and sane in this crazy world !

Some Maintenance was done....

After a long absence (not because of Covid, thank god) I am back. First, I tested some of the links in my blog, and deleted the ones that don't function anymore. Plus I will post some new stuff in the next weeks.
