The Incal was the first french comic I read, when I was 20 years old and on a trip through Europe. Before, I knew Blueberry, and I didn't know that this Italo-Western-styled comic was from the same artist as the cosmic adventures of John Difool. Since then, I followed his works, from the Airtight Garage to the Adventures of Arzach, from the great Silver Surfer comic to one of his his last works, "la version irlandaise" in the series of XIII. Rest in Peace - you will be missed.

I stumbled upon this picture on Flickr. I remember, I was a kid that time and the pictures from the TV scared the hell out of me. I still remember the nightmares.

Strange, I almost forgot this event. Volcanoes fascinated me all the time, but I never thought about this episode.
